Residential Deliveries

Coordination Required: We cannot provide surprise deliveries to residential addresses. Someone must be present to accept the balloons in person; we cannot leave them unattended, even upon request.

Front Desk Buildings: Our dispatcher may contact the recipient to confirm that the doorman can accept and store a large package.

No Front Desk Buildings: We will call to arrange a delivery time when someone is available to receive the order. This call is typically made by late morning on the delivery date or the day before (for same-day orders, it may be later in the afternoon). If we cannot reach anyone, we'll leave a callback number and wait for a response before proceeding.

Missed Deliveries: If no one is available at the agreed time, the order will return to our branch office, and the sender will be notified. An additional delivery fee will apply for redelivery. Undeliverable orders are non-refundable.
Special Delivery Time Frames

Availability: We offer a 2 hour window for Delivery Time start at 9:00 and end at 5:59

Priority: The delivery time arranged during our call with the recipient takes precedence over the selected time frame.
Deliveries to Schools

Permission Required: Before ordering, confirm that the school allows balloon deliveries. Most schools require balloons to be held at the front office; classroom deliveries are not permitted. Ensure the office will notify the student about the delivery.

Latex Restrictions: Some schools permit only mylar balloons due to latex allergies. Verify any restrictions before placing your order.
College Campus Deliveries

Delivery Locations: We can deliver to central mailrooms or dormitories open to the public with a receptionist to accept the order. Classroom deliveries are not allowed.

Recipient Contact: Provide the student's cell number so we can notify them upon delivery. While we'll attempt contact, it's not guaranteed. The sender should ensure the student retrieves the order; we are not liable if they don't.
Hotel Deliveries

Delivery Protocol: For security reasons, we cannot deliver directly to guest rooms. Orders are left with the concierge, front desk, bell desk, or loading dock, depending on hotel policy.

Hotel Responsibility: Once delivered to the hotel, our service is complete. We are not responsible for any damage or misplacement during internal transfers. Balloons may become tangled during transit; customers should be prepared to untangle and arrange them as needed.
Deliveries to Secure Facilities

Restricted Access: In facilities with restricted access (e.g., corporate, research, military), we may need to leave balloons with a receptionist, mail clerk, or security staff. Provide a contact number for the recipient to inform them of the delivery.

Completion Responsibility: Once we've delivered to the designated area, it's the responsibility of the accepting party to ensure the recipient receives the order.
Hospital Deliveries

Delivery Policies: Hospital policies vary; we may need to leave balloons at a security station for staff to deliver to the patient. This process may cause delays.

Patient Status: We will confirm with the hospital that the patient is admitted and allowed to receive balloons before delivery. If the hospital refuses the delivery upon arrival, the order is considered complete, and no refund is issued. If the patient is discharged before delivery, options include redelivery to a local address (with an additional fee) or order cancellation without a refund.

Balloon Restrictions: Latex balloons are prohibited in all hospitals due to allergy concerns; mylar (foil) balloons are usually acceptable. Some patients may not be allowed to receive any balloons. Confirm with the hospital before ordering.
Defective Balloons
- Replacement or Refund: To request a replacement or refund for defective balloons, email a photograph of the balloons along with your order number to info@saltlakeballoons.com
Anonymous Deliveries
- Policy: We do not offer anonymous delivery services. If the greeting card lacks a signature, we will disclose the sender's name to the recipient upon request.
